Signing of Memorandum of Understanding (‘MOU’) with Kwei Chou Mou Tai Distillery Co Ltd for the shares of Kweichow MouTai Beer Brewery Co. Ltd and Kweichow MouTai Distillery Group Changli Winery Co. Ltd
During 14-17 July 2004, the Guangzhou Municipal People’s Government organized a trade cooperation business conference, “The First Pan Pearl River Delta Regional Economics & Trade Cooperation Fair (泛珠三角区域经贸合作洽谈会)”. This is for further strengthening of economy and trade cooperation for areas including Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Hong Kong and Macau.
Inline with this business cooperation conference, ‘Mou Tai a mega brand of China produced by Kwei Chou Mou Tai Distillery Co Ltd is signing a MOU with Multi-Tradeplus (Hong Kong) Ltd which is a subsidiary of a Singapore based company, MTP (Investments) Pte Ltd
This signing of a MOU between a Singapore SME with a well established China corporation is indeed in response to the Singapore government’s encouragement of local establishments to attract oversea business consortium.
